Wallpapers
Well lets see.. What to say.. I first got involved
with Starlancer, when I started visiting a fan site,
by the name of Lanced.Net. I answered a question, one
of the admin asked.. "Would you like to see Starlancer
Wallpapers" I told him yes, and within about 2
days, I recieved a reply from The Fatman telling me
the wallpaper was posted.. and asking me how I liked
it.. I replyed that it was good, but a bit dark.. and
I might try making one up myself.. He then responded
back, and said that would be great, and to send him
a email when I had it.. At first I didn't really plan
on making a wallpaper.. I played with the idea.. but
when I read more about the game, I came to find out
it had a World War 2 feel to it.. and then it hit me..
Poster girls.. During WWII poster girls were used to
keep up the mens moral while fighting.. and then was
born Miss WA July which was a great hit among the lancer
community.. Then came nine more after her.. plus six
battle scenes..
I stoped working on the Starlancer Wallpapers Shortly
before the game came out.. Lanced.Net closed.. and the
admins spilt, one heading to start Starlancer
Vault and the other to go off and join up with another
Starlancer site by the name Starlancer.net, which moved
to the Planet servers, and thus was renamed Lancer
HQ . Which the current graphics being used there
are made by me.. Realm did the killer HTML work..
That pretty much sums up the Starlancer wallpaper section..
Well now.. MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000 for
those none fans*s* ) I got involved in whith a friend..
It was actually my first wallpapers I ever made.. And
they were Windows Startup screens before they were Wallpapers..
A crazy friend I know by the name Lord Bob(his homepage
is in Friends section
of Links) asked me to help him make some MST3K startup
screens for a windows theme pack he was making.. So
I messed around for a while, and made one or two, and
sent them to him.. one of which he used.. Then I had
the idea for the two Wallpapers in the MST3K
section.. and as I said.. they were start up screens
before wallpapers.. I could go more indepth, but the
wallpapers were made off of personal choice.. the Win
tide, b/c I like Gamera.. and the Bill Hell b/c at the
time Win 98 was hell for me *s*
Well This is a new section.. Think of it as a work
in progress section.. The olive dragon I made off an
idea for a friend, and the two strange one I did for
the heck of it.. *s*
